During the week of the 90th Annual Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club, Tom Watson sat down with the Golf Channel’s Steve Sands, along with Brad Faxon and Eamon Lynch to reflect on the moments—and mentors—that shaped his journey. In this feature, he shares the inspiration behind Watson Links and why mentorship remains at the heart of growing the game for the next generation.

Watson Links has partnered with Bank of America through its Golf with Us initiative to expand youth golf access and mentoring nationwide. This partnership will grow mentor-led golf experiences that help junior golfers build confidence, develop life skills, and foster a lifelong love of the game.

Watson Links has unveiled its 2026 Playing Partner network, marking significant national growth and a more diverse mix of 51 partners across 23 states. This milestone reflects a new era of momentum for the nonprofit founded by golf legend Tom Watson, further advancing its mission to make on-course golf mentoring more accessible nationwide.

Watson Links proudly announces a new partnership with the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) to expand access to golf mentoring nationwide. Launching during National Mentoring Month this January, together we’re creating more opportunities for junior golfers to learn, play, and grow through meaningful relationships with adult mentors at local courses across the country.

Watson Links’ partnership with LPGA-USGA Girls Golf continues to shine through stories like that of Caprina Yarosz — a powerful example of how early support and mentorship can shape a young golfer’s path. Inspired by time on the course with her grandfather, Caprina grew within the Girls Golf Jersey Shore community, developing her skills while stepping into leadership roles that allowed her to mentor younger players. Her journey reflects the shared mission of Watson Links and Girls Golf.
