Watson Links Sets New Q3 Record with More Than 3,200 Golf Mentoring Rounds

Thirty-eight Playing Partners helped connect more than 1,000 junior golfers with adult mentors through a diverse lineup of initiatives across the country.

The third quarter of the 2026 season marked a record-breaking period for Watson Links, as our growing network of Playing Partners created more opportunities for junior golfers and adult mentors to connect, learn and grow through the game.

From July through September, Watson Links and our Playing Partners implemented 49 unique golf mentoring initiatives spanning multiple markets and program formats. Together, these efforts brought hundreds of mentors and more than 1,000 junior golfers together for thousands of mentoring rounds.

The Q3 results speak for themselves:

  • 49 initiatives activated during Q3
  • 661 mentors participated during the quarter
  • 1,064 junior golfers connected with mentors
  • 1,725 participants served from July-September
  • 3,273 mentoring rounds of golf played together

From Networking and Development Days of Play, to Fairway Futures and large-scale corporate partnerships, Q3 showcased the versatility of the Watson Links model and the power of collaboration to expand access to on-course golf mentoring.

A Quarter of Connection, Collaboration and Growth.

Highlights included the conclusion of the second annual American Century Investments Swing Series, which brought mentors and juniors together across multiple markets, and the final Bank of America Golf with Us Day of Play events in August. Watson Links also celebrated the inaugural AdventHealth Championship Junior Day benefiting Watson Links, creating additional opportunities for young golfers to experience the game alongside mentors and engage with the broader golf community.

Each initiative offered its own approach to bringing people together, united by a shared goal: making golf more accessible while helping young people build confidence, develop life skills and form connections that extend beyond the course.

The Impact Goes Beyond the Scorecard.

The success of Q3 reflects the dedication of our Golf Mentors, the enthusiasm of our junior golfers with support from parents and guardians, along with the commitment of our Playing Partners to making these experiences possible in their communities.

As the 2026 season continues, Watson Links is grateful to everyone helping grow the game through mentoring, one round, one connection, and one opportunity at a time.
